2012 is coming to a close and what a year is was:
I love Florida in January.
Had awesome and yummy field trips.
The Orange Festival was fantastic.
Nothing like a Renaissance Festival to help you appreciate modern technology ..and air conditioning. It was a hot one that day.
Culinary Cappers with friends was an absolute hoot!
Our family trip to Savannah was AMAZING! Breathtaking!
Logan wielded a scalpel like a surgeon.
Pops and Fefe came to visit us in the Sunshine State.
Homeschool Convention in Orlando was epic!
Jump! Jump!
Logan had the best twelve year old birthday EVER!
But then, we had to say goodbye. This was the suck part of the year:
Onward to North Carolina:
Pops and Fefe came to check out our new digs.
We explored.
We found an awesome homeschool group.
Yup, we still have Florida blood.
Logan tried fencing and was good at it. Proud of him!
Released my first book.
New friends were made.
Logan overcame his fear! I cried and jumped around like a crazy woman.
2012: we laughed, we cried, we laughed some more, we cried some more.
Friendships ended, new ones began, some became stronger and others mended.
Support was found in unexpected places and disappointment in familiar ones.
We learned, we loved, we cherished, and we held tight to memories as they soothed our souls and comforted our minds.
Farewell 2012, I welcome 2013 with open arms filled with faith, hope, and BIG dreams!
Happy New Years Eve!
Keeps it real peeps! And check on the cracked flip side!
